Wax-it is a GLP-compliant contract research organization that supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for preparation and execution of histology and pathology studies involved in regulatory submission to the FDA and CFIA.

To ensure regulatory compliancy is upheld to the highest standard, Wax-it maintains a dedicated Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) that is compliant with FDA and GLP guidelines. The QAU is responsible for auditing all GLP studies, completing and maintaining SOPs pertaining to study conduct and laboratory operations, equipment calibration and maintenance, personnel training, and archiving of study material such as documents, slides, tissue-embedded blocks, and non-processed tissue.
